Full RFC report, next budget work session

AFA met this morning to receive the official report back of the Maine Revenue Forecasting Committee (RFC). As discussed last week projections have increased significantly from the predictions made at the outset of the pandemic. Due to substantial Federal intervention revenues are at or slightly above their pre-pandemic levels.

FY21, this fiscal year has increased since the RFC meeting on Tuesday due to a subsequent meeting on Friday to recognize the settlement of a particularly large estate.

Thursday, May 6 AFA will hold another work session at 10:00 AM for LD 221, the supplemental budget.
